Tree had started to leave, but turned and ran to where Amya's scream came from. They may not of met under nice circumstances, but if someone was in trouble she would help.

Kitkun immediately got up and ran towards Amya's scream, and was blinded momentarily by the sun reflecting off of a shiny thing. He recognized Amya's voice and some other sounds from inside the shiny thing. The other sounds were some kind of a voice, some sort of language...it sounded whiny and high-pitched compared to the wolves' language of growls and barks, but somehow, this new voice sounded familiar.

Tree had ducked down behind a bush, and was staring wide eyed at the large rock. It wasn't like any rock she'd ever seen. It reflected the Sun into her eyes, nd there were creatures inside it.

"You monsters!" Kitkun screamed at the creatures inside the shiny thing, and then noticed an opening in the thing. He threw himself towards the opening, but was blocked by one of the creatures, who said something in that whiny voice and grabbed Kitkun's arm. Somehow, Kitkun found he was able to pick out a few words.
"Brats...just growled at us...take back...kill the animals..."
Kitkun bit down hard on the creature's arm, and locked his jaws, refusing to let go, even as the creature's high-pitched scream filled the air. Eventually another creature came out, holding something black that smelled like smoke. The other creature hit Kitkun with the black thing, causing him to finally let go.
Kitkun scampered away before the human could grab him again. It wouldn't help Amya if they were both captured. -

Tree was about to go out there and attack the creatures herself, when a growl stopped her. A tiger lept over her head, and began to bite and claw the creatures. It was River.

(I'm back, but not for long because I have a swim meet. Wish me luck. xP)
The creature that had grabbed Kitkun and the creature that had hit Kitkun with the black thing (it's a rifle, BTW xD) screamed. The one with the black thing shot several times and missed. It hit River once, but only on River's ear, so it didn't do much damage.
One of the creatures slammed the opening of the shiny thing shut, causing the creature that had grabbed Kitkun to fall out, and then quickly made its way down the path.
Blood from Kitkun's wound was dripping down his forehead and into his eyes, causing him to blink in order to flick it off, but the most painful part was watching the shiny thing speed out of sight. With Amya in it, and the furless creatures who wanted to kill the animals. -

Tree, once sure the moving rock was away, ran to River and wraped her long, thin arms around his neck. -
Kitkun was curled up in a ball, shaking with fear and sadness when Alpha Tynan and Alpha Crescentia stepped out of the trees and onto the path, followed by an extremely worried Taini.
Alpha Tynan couldn't rip the intruders to shreds like he'd planned, as they weren't in Starsong territory anymore, but he shot Rain and Tree a look that said I'll catch you the next time you tresspass - and you'll wish you hadn't. Taini trotted over to Kitkun and examined the wound on his head before asking, "Where's Amya?" in that voice mothers have when they're freaking out and running in circles on the inside, but they're trying to act calm. -
Tree looked at thw olf with large eyes, and River nudged her away. "C'mon, let's go home."

Sorrel stared out at the shiny things and the lack of trees. "What the..."

Xolani shuddered, her eyes wide with fear and amazement.
"Amya...Amya's gone." Kitkun choked between sobs. -
I might as well drop out of this.xD

"Did you see the huge moving rocks? They were amazing! Don't know why those creatures had them." Tree said, once they had gotten away from the wolves. "Yeah, and I didn't lie it one bit."
