Eli suddenly let the tears slip down his face.

conner noticed that eli was crying, tears were going down eli's face, he felt really bad, but he didn't know what to do, he tried to make eli think that he could still use his powers, he tried to, but it didn't work, it was hopeless

"You're like... my big brother, man..." Eli said, sobbing.

conner said,"everything will be ok" he hoped that would make eli feel better, but he wasn't sure if that would happen, and he wasn't even sure if he could do anything about losing his power, soon, the jewel on his chest would completly stop working, and he knew what would happen next, but he didn't want to die

Eli looked up at Conner and shook his head sadly. He knew Conner was only saying it so he woulc feel better.

conner watched as eli shook his head, it didn't work, conner felt like crying, but he didn't, conner slowly limped away

Eli couldn't follow him. He knew Connor needed to be alone. Eli picked up rocks and chucked them off the edge of the floating island. He was so angry and lost and sad. Tears clouded his vision and he screamed in frustration.
