I'm so glad you asked!
I don't know what to call it just yet, but I'll descibe what I did ^^
1. First I cooked a beef chuck roast on low heat over the course of about twenty-four hours in a marinade of strong beef broth, bourbon-barrel maple syrup, and brown sugar. (would have liked to add bay leaves, but we don't have any)
2. Added sliced yellow onions and cubed butternut squash about eight hours in.
3. Cubed a bunch of sweet potatoes. Tossed them with melted butter seasoned with brown sugar, cinnamon, sage, freshly cracked black pepper, salt, cardamom, cayenne and nutmeg. Baked those on high until the pieces on the top started to char.
4. Drained the liquid from the beef roast and mixed it with the sweet potatoes.
