"They envy us because we're mortal, because any moment might be our last. Everything is more beautiful because we're doomed."
beautiful quote -
"“I know these will all be stories some day, and our pictures will become old photographs. We all become somebody’s mom or dad. But right now, these moments are not stories. This is happening. I can see it. This one moment when you know you’re not a sad story. You are alive. And you stand up and see the lights on the buildings and everything that makes you wonder. And you’re listening to that song, and that drive with the people who you love most in this world. And in this moment, I swear, we are infinite.”'

I feel like Disney is trying to be woke or something, but they're terrible at it. Firstly, the seven dwarves aren't even dwarves. And dwarf actors, to be truthful, cannot find acting roles where they don't play a character with dwarfism. They just don't. And this isn't to be mean to them, or say that they're unable to play those roles, but most films do not hire dwarves to play characters without dwarfism. So, they hire all these people WHO AREN'T DWARVES (to be politically correct) that they consider to be "diverse," taking jobs away from those who are actually dwarves. And imagine being someone with dwarfism in Hollywood. One, the majority of actors in Hollywood go unrecognized (unless you're insanely famous), and live paycheck to paycheck. Two, it's hard to be cast for roles. Three, adding onto the one before, if it's hard to rise to fame as just a regular actor, it's by far much more difficult for someone with dwarfism to.
They're taking away jobs from people who could really use it. -
Two. I love Rachel Zegler (she's playing Snow White), I loved West Side Story, and I think she's perfect for the role. I've gotten over the fact that Disney princesses are being rewritten to be other races. Because while I think that instead of changing a princess' race, they can just create new stories. But they're lazy, so whatever.
In every single interview, she is just slandering the original Snow White. Firstly, she said that she didn't even like the movie. Two, she doesn't even like Snow White.
Just wow. Like there are people that would PAY to be Snow White, who would do anything to play this character. And Rachel Zegler doesn't even like her. She demeans the character in so many ways and it's frustrating because Snow White is like my favorite Disney princess, and she's saying all these bad things about both her and the movie.
Another thing, she demanded to be paid more for her role as Snow White. The Hollywood strike is not meant for the top 0.01% of actors who are famous and wealthy, it's not meant so that they can get even more money. It's for the actors that are living paycheck to paycheck, who can hardly afford to pay their bills. And miss, Rachel is getting over 250M to stand around in a princess dress, sing, act, as one of the most iconic princesses of all time.
And she wants more money? Girl, no. First, she doesn't even like Snow White. Second, she wants MORE money to stand around in a dress. Girl, I would PAY to do that all day. And the top-earning actors' jobs are not hard. They're not. Sure, you get tired. Sure, the paparazzi follows you around. But no, you should not be paid millions of dollars to put on a sad face and cry fake tears. -
And third, which is by far the worst thing.
In Disney's attempts to be woke and modern, they're actually being anti-feminist.
I'll say it one time: "Feminism is about depicting women who have different wants and different needs, and different personalities. Who come from different races and ethnicities. And depicting them all as equally valuable, with something to offer, and something to say." -
So, in an interview with Rachel Zegler and one of the people that's helping with writing the film, Rachel Zegler says something along the lines of:
"It's not 1937 anymore. So we wrote a Snow White that's not gonna be saved by the prince. She wants to be a leader, and she's not gonna be dreaming about true love."
I'm all for women wanting to become leaders. But Disney completely writes off the fact that while Snow White was dreaming about falling in love, she was also compassionate, kind, gentle, innocent, and sweet. So why are they saying that it's bad that Snow White maybe wants a prince to save her? There's nothing wrong with that. Because she wants true love, does not make her less valuable as a woman or as a person.
I don't wanna feel bad because I wanna get married and be a stay at home mother. I don't wanna feel like I'm less of a person because I don't wanna be a leader. Maybe that's not for me. And the thing here is that everyone frowns upon wanting those things. It's not anti-feminist just because it's what used to be expected as women.
I got this example from somebody on TikTok, but here's what she said.
"When a woman does something altruistic she's pathetic and has no sense of self. But when a man does something altruistic he's a hero. When was the last time you heard anybody criticizing Hercules for jumping into the depths of the underworld to in order to save Meg, and giving up everything he had worked his entire life for, so that he could be with her? All you're doing is criticizing women for things that men get to do unquestioned, and denying them their right to be or fall in love." -
anywho, facts not opinions i hate disney rn
