SOMEBODY JUST SAID I LOOKED LIKE MADELYN CLINE IM DYING DO THEY KNOW HOW MUCH OF A COMPLIMENT THAT IS

i think the funniest thing would be taking a picture in front of a striped wall, or a picket fence or something. Like something that clearly is meant to have perfectly straight lines.
And then people can’t edit their bodies to look skinnier -

so you know those reddit stories on tiktok
anyways the creepy ones used to come up on my fyp until i actually got addicted to them and couldnt sleep because i was so freaked out (this was only like a month or so ago), and I basically stopped myself from watching them because even tho they were entertaining, i literally could not sleep.
anyways, tiktok thought that i wanted MORE, so they kept putting other reddit stories on my fyp. and theyre so entertaining like i just love watching someone play subway surfers while people are telling a story in the background haha.
ANYWAYS. -
some of them are funny, some are jawdropping, and other are just heart-breaking.
so i just watched one and im literally on the verge of tears because it was about this mom who was basically telling the story of her twins. one of them had a coconut allergy, so keep that in mind. when they were only one years old, both of the parents were tied down at work and so they asked the mom's mother to watch the kids. so she was watching them, and then put coconut oil in both of their hair while she was braiding their hair.
and the little girl was getting a rash, so the grandmother (who knew about the allergy) gave her some Benadryl and put her to bed. the next day, the parents finally return home and the kids arent there. they find out that their son (who's three) is at the neighbors house while their grandparents are at the hospital with their twins. so they rush there, ask what's happening, and basically get put into a room with a nurse, who tells them this. their child who was allergic to coconut, after she went to bed, swelled up and died of anaphylactic shock.
and my heart is broken. i'd be sad anyways because a little kid died, but it's even more heartwrenching because of my own allergies. And to feel like your life is being put on the line because someone doesn't take your allergies as seriously as they should, is really really scary. and especially because it was a little girl, whose grandmother completely disregarded the fact that she couldn't touch coconut, and did what she wanted anyways. the person who posted the story said that their mother really liked to braid their hair and put coconut oil in it, which is why she really encouraged her mother to not have it around her twins.
and i dont think that the grandmother was being malicious at all. but she's so selfish, because she wanted to do something and didnt even stop to think because she just didn't care.
