I've always found it annoying when learning about the Civil War and all you hear is 'Slavery slavery slavery!'
When will people get it in their heads that it wasn't originally about slavery?
It was originally about the North being unfair to the South, I'm pretty sure the last straw was about a tariff or something.
The first time it became about slavery was in the Gettysburg Address, and it was basically used to rile the troops up. -

Told him it was okay if he got me something stupid because I'm kind of interested in what he'll find and it also sort of evens out what happened at Christmas.
Although I'm also curious if he tells his mom what he's getting me she's going to be like, "No way, J, that's what you get a girl for Valentines Day!"
