My parents just scared me to death.
(True story)
10 minutes ago, my mom came in and said, "It's time for bed." So as usual, I closed the bathroom door and started brushing my teeth. When I finished, I came out, and all the lights were turned off. Well this is weird, I thought. My heartbeat was going super fast, and I was walking slowly. I couldn't see where I was walking, and I didn't hear any sounds of my dogs or cats.
I was the only one in the house.
Once I got to the living room, I turned on the light and looked around. Still, no signs of my parents or pets. Okay, I thought. This is weird. My heart was beating super fast, and I heard a loud bang. It made me jump and I looked around. I couldn't find the noise's source. Still, I was freaking out. Where was everybody? Did they just... leave?
"Mom? Dad?" I say, but I'm talking to air. No one hears me.
I look out the door to the backyard, and I see them hanging out out there. I was furious! They could've told me that they were going out there. So I did something I rarely do. I yelled at my parents.
"You could've told me where you were going!"
I didn't scream too loud, because after all, it was night time, I was outside, and it was my parents.
"We don't have to tell you anything."
That comment made me boil. "WELL YOU COULD'VE TOLD ME BEFORE YOU LEFT ME ALONE IN THE HOUSE WITH ALL THE LIGHTS OFF WITH NO SIGN OF YOUR LEAVE!!!"
My mom gasped and said, "Oh Taylor, I'm so sorry we scared you." Then she stood up, put her hand on my shoulder, and said, "You know I would never leave you alone in the house like that."
That's pretty much it. Btw, my dogs were outside, my cats were under the table, and the bang was (probably) the washer. -

I WANT TO MOVE TO THAT HOUSE SO BAD.
My parents went house searching, and we saw this house we really like in Piedmont. It's big and follows all our requirements:
* Big kitchen
* Big backyard
* Doesn't have two floors, just one
* Has parents rooms on one side, and the kids room on the other.
* My room still has a carpet (I like my room having a carpet)
And we saw some other stuff we didn't know we needed until we saw that house, such as...
* My room has it's own bathroom
* The living room actually has living room.
And some other stuff I can't think of at this moment in time. -
I live in a small house, so all of that would be great.
