sometimes when I or my sister is on the phone with my dad or even just try to talk to him in person, his girlfriend will do something to aggravate their son (who has autism) so that he will have an episode and my dad has to give them their attention instead
it's really sickening and obvious
people who use children like that deserve the worst -
uhh take it from me, it really does just come out and happens when the times right.

it probably won't ever come out then. I'm not good at stuff like that but I guess it doesn't matter anymore

I hate the way my dad's side of the family treats me
Like in subhuman. Disgusting. Beneath them.
They're literally the trashiest white trash out there. Not worth even a glance from me.
Yet it still hurts immensely. There's two other openly gay family members. Neither of them associate with the rest of the family. Only showing up to events once in a blue moon. I don't know how they feel since our situations are a little different. But I know it must hurt.
Mom's side accepted me wholeheartedly. And they're not even the ones who I grew up with. I'm very shy so I still don't socialize with them well, but they treat me like a human being. It's nice. -

she's nuts and everyone says she's a b----, idk or care about her drama but
when I was in high school, shortly after I began dating John, I was playing Assasin's Creed on my brother's X-Box while my gramma had family over. I wasn't trying to be antisocial; I'm just bad at socializing and, once again, extremely shy so I hid away after dinner.
Anyway, my cousin Amanda comes in after going outside to smoke weed with my brother, and she's stoned as hell. She comes up to me while I'm trying to play my game and starts saying stuff like "I'll always accept you" and "if anyone says anything to you, send them my way" and stuff like that. Apparently, she was the first family member to come out as LGBT+ way back in the day because she's bisexual. So she said that if anyone is mean to me to send them to her and she'll take care of it. Idk what that means LMAO. She was also very affectionate and trying to hug me. It was funny because I was just trying to play my video game.
she's nuts but she was very sweet
also she is drop-dead gorgeous and knows it. probably why she's crazy -
my dad's offended that I like that side more than his but like
1. they're not bigots
2. they don't treat me like I'm different/otherly
3. they seldom talk about me behind my back and when they do, it's not bad things (as far as I know)
4. even though my mom is the worst, they don't compare me to her or say I'll turn out like her. additionally, they don't sympathize with her and keep in contact with her like my dad's side does; they're actually concerned with keeping us (me and my siblings) safe
5. while they were initially confused about my gender, they were not rude or ignorant. they just genuinely didn't know about that stuff at first and now it's not even a big deal. they made an effort to understand me -
my brother said he was prepared to throw hands if someone said something out of line when they all found out, but apparently they just asked reasonable questions
