So this kid on the bus thats in my grade and is also mew to my school, had called my best friend a sl*t then he called me a a**hole on the bus! So once my best friend got off i stood on the seat reached over and cracked him in the arm! Im not gonna turn him in! Im pretty sure hes scared of me! He didnt come to school the next day either! And if he wouldve i wouldve punched him again! He said he called her that just joking around! That another reason y i punched him! But did i do the right thing?
-
Plz let me know!
-
I mean,He didn't hurt you or anything first, but the guy was still disrespectful. But at the same time,You should've told the teacher or principle about what he said, instead of referring to violence. That just puts yourself in trouble. Take my thread as an example.
-
Well i know he isnt going to tell anyone!
-
Yeah,But you still shouldn't have beat him up.
-
I didnt beat him up, i only punched him in the arm! And i didnt do it very heard either!
-
When I was in primary school I often responded to bullying ( which is not what this guy was doing.) with violence, and it wasn’t right.
Did he just randomly call you an a--hole? Because it sounds like you’re leaving some stuff out.
You mention waiting for your friend to leave before attacking him, making it obvious you knew you were in the wrong.
You’re proud that someone is terrified to come to school? You’re even bragging that he’s too scared to tell on you.
You shouldn’t have hit him, it sounds like you didn’t even tell the guy he made you upset.
And it doesn’t sound like you even asked if your friend was upset.
Honestly this thread seems to be for validation, since you keep persisting reasons why you were right.
Point is you kind of attacked someone who didn’t really do anything. -
s---,If ya didn't punch him that hard then he's a b----.
-
Kate, even if it wasn’t a hard punch there could be other reasons.
Also you probably punched him way harder than you realised. It’s a common thing that happens, especially in anger, -
But Puppet,I did say that it was wrong to punch someone for no reason.
-
I was asking him why he called her that, he said he was joking around and stuff, and i told him that thats not simething you joke around about! Then he said “f off you ahole” and that got me really amd, he was laughing and smiling. But my friend got off the bus when he said that so i hit him not very hard, Idk y he didnt come to school i think he has a suspension for beatig up a 4th grader!
-
This sounds fake, since you’re adding a reason he didn’t come to school.
It literally sounds like you took a joke too seriously, and hit someone for no reason. -
a punch in the arm is no big deal. it's really hard to injure someone by just punching their arm (small children, elderly people, and super frail individuals excluded) sounds like it was a bad joke and maybe you took it a little too seriously but honestly the punch doesn't matter. if you punch someone in the arm instead of the face or body it's probably cause you don't actually want to hurt them, whether that's a conscious thought or not.
