I can't sleep because I'm up thinking about it
the pain is not what scares me most though
what if I say something wrong while on laughing gas and reveal something I wouldn't otherwise?
I had the option to go to a fancier place and get put to sleep for the surgery but that gives me even more anxiety. being put to sleep and being messed with in my sleep does not appeal to me. I had a surgery on my eyes once during which I was asleep and nope. not again, if I have the choice. -

I think if you said something while on the laughing gas, it wouldn't be taken too seriously.
However, not watching to be messed with/ operated on when asleep is completely understandable/ reasonable. -

that's true. also, I looked it up online and it looks like I'll still be mostly in control and I'm just scaring myself for nothing. I guess I can relax a little. still nervous of course, but I feel a lot better about the whole ordeal.
yeah, I remember getting really sick afterwards too. I'd much rather be awake and at least somewhat aware of what's going on. I guess some people are grossed out by seeing their teeth come out and hearing the noises but I would much rather that than just passing out and waking up with missing teeth, idk. makes my skin crawl. -
