Thread Topic: I'm having a dilemma

This probably belongs in the Front Porch, but it'll die quicker here.
So there's this really cute guy that I see around campus sometimes, and I just want to talk to him. I see him mostly waiting for the bus outside my dorm, and I really just want to go up to him and be like "Hi, sorry to bother you, but I just want to let you know that you're really good looking. Have a good day!" But that could be weird. And I actually want to see what he's like, not just let him know that he has a pretty face. Plus, he probably knows that he is good looking and he might get that all the time. So I also want to go see A Quiet Place, and so I'm thinking I should just go up to him and ask him first off if he's from here and secondly if he knows how to get to the theater via bus because I hate taking the bus and it took me like a year to learn this bus system, so I probably could get to the theater by myself without any help, but it's a conversation starter right? But then I'm worried about if something does end up happening between us, we only have a month left in the semester and I'm studying abroad next semester, so I won't see him till next year (if something were to happen). So I feel like I'm in a pickle and wondering if I should even do it or just continue to walk past him. -
Does everyone just stay holed up in their threads these days?
-
Not everyone, mainly cause I don't have my own thread
I would like to help you, but I think you should just do it and talk to him -
I remember when the "my thread" thing started happening, but we would still make other threads to talk to people. But now it's like if you want to talk to someone, you have to go into their "my thread," so the Lounge seems to be overrun by them.
Thank you. Even if something does happen and I'm not here for the summer or fall semester? -
Oh
There's no failure in trying, if you don't try you'll never know -
Yeah I guess. I just gotta build up the confidence to go up to him
