I like to imagine myself in an old-ish pickup truck, like an old Dodge Dakota or something. one that's used, the paint is somewhat faded and chipped in some places. the inside is an odd mixture of dust and dirt and car freshener, and when you first get in it takes you a moment to get used to it. maybe the interior is a bit dusty and could stand to be vacuumed, but I'll be damned if there's any trash in the floorboards. there are, however, papers stuffed everywhere and the cupholder has a bunch of change in it. something is hanging on the mirror and there's probably a few toys wedged between the dash and the windshield, bleached by the sun. the radio's likely broken and been that way for years. everyone tells me I need to get a new car, but I like my truck and, 'sides, I don't have the money and probably never will
just a fantasy of mine, something to occupy my mind on the way home from school and such -
