Celeste hid under a seat, curling herself into a tiny ball. She held her breath. The tiniest exhale could result in her being found.

Sam nodded, and headed upstaires and to the right. There, she took off her boots and jacket, and lay on the bed.

'Well, find her! Catch her! I'll bludgeon Sethos by myself!' the woman screamed.

Celeste ran her hand along the floor and found a pen. She threw it in the direction of the man's voice, and felt a small sense of pride when she heard it clatter to the floor by his feet. She'd have just enough time to crawl out the window before he could catch her. She reached up and pulled the emergency level. The window opened, and she slipped out, crashing to the asphalt below.

Meanwhile, Matt went out of investigate. He expected to see the policemen chatting over some coffee, but instead he found them all sprwled out on the ground.

's---!' The man shouted again.
'Aw, forget it!!' the woman screamed.
The boss switched off her walkie-talkie and turned to Sethos. She picked up a lead pipe. -
"Oh dear lord." Matt said, running back inside.

Sethos groaned in agony. She turned to him.
'I'm sorry it had to come to this.' she growled, whacking the silver-haired abuse victim. 'BUT YOU SHOULDA DONE YOUR FHAWKING JOB RIGHT!!!' -
"Sam! Sam, get up! We have to go somewhere else, all the policemen are unconsious!" Matt said, shaking her awake.

Celeste ran through bushes, tripping and falling every couple feet. She stopped when she heard the woman's voice... the woman from the walkie talky. She hid behind a car and listened to her.

Sethos exclaimed in agony as the lead pipe smacked against his head.

Matt and Sam raced outside and down the street to their secret spot. It was a clearing with bushes all around, and thorns overhead.

Celeste couldn't take it anymore. She stepped out from her hiding spot, not sure if she was facing the woman or not. "WHAT THE HELL? STOP!" She bit her lip, awaiting what might happen next after her stupid act of bravery.
