Okay. So. I'm going to a professional, out of state science fair in January. The mayor is coming and a bunch of judges. It's really cool.
We have to look formal. However, we also have a dark color themed, dance party afterwards to celebrate. I need to have something dressy, yet gothic, and for a dance. Help me decide.
1. This one is perfect size. I'll wear a black cardigan with it.
2. This one is from Forever 21. It's really pretty, but it's like three sizes too big. When buying it online, I thought I was plus size. Well, turns out I'm not that big. My sister and I have figured out a way to fix that though.
3. Don't have a picture for this option, but I could go with a more masculine outfit. Like, Bow tie, sleeved shirt, suspenders, and that kind of stuff. -

The second one looks the best, but looks to much as a party dress.
I would go with number three. The bowtie or regular tie could really pull in the formal look, the whole outfit can be black and still look pretty great, and functional for parties since it is a "dance" party. -
*too much like a party dress, almost could be one for a New Year's Eve party.

The first one I definitely don't like and just says, "Grandma came to stay with us for the holidays and on sundsy when we were going to church she decided to pull out this flouncy dress to wear"
Definitely not a dress for a science fair.
The third opinion is best because of how professional you can look and if the bowtie is too overwhelming you can always take it off during the party. -
