Kira turned to the staires and gasped. There was a man blocking it.

's---.' Essence gasped

"Bad." Kira said, backing up to stand with the others.

'very bad.' Maria agreed.

"Where do you lovely ladies think you're going?" the man asked.

'That's an easy answer.' Essence growled

"Out." Kira replied, "Out? Now why would you want to go out?"

'Because this place is a hellhole, b----.' Essence snapped 'Because you're evil b------s who impregnate the women, in hope they'll produce a daughter to carry on the lifeline, and kill the mothers.'

Kira nodded in agreement. The man threw his head back and laughed.

Essence couldn't take it any longer. She was balling her hands into tight fists

"Well then, if you want to leave I wont stop you. If, you promise me something." the man said.

'I'm not falling for that s---!' Essence growled, gripping the sharp glass shiv in her hand. Maria stopped her. 'What is it?'

"One of you stays here for a while longer." the man replied.

'I knew it. You're evil.' Essence growled

"And proud of it." the man said, smiling.
