"I'm going to be here all night. If anything happens, you just tell me," he said.

Akira nodded. "Okay." he hugged Dai gently. Having him close made Akira feel safer.

He nodded as well, curling up closely and felling his eyes flutter shut.

Akira rested his head on Dai's chest. He was still to frightened to go to sleep.

He mumbled in his sleep for a while.

Akira listened to Dai mumble and felt his heartbeat by his head.

Sometime in the night, the leaves began rustling. A lot.

Akita was still awake and when the leaves started rustling, he pulled himself super close to Dai, his heartbeat speeding up with fear.

The rustling only got louder and Dai just mumbled in response. "Eh.."

Akira was starting to freak out a bit. "D-Dai.. W-wake up..."

Dai instantly woke up. "What?" he asked, his eyes alert.

"I-it's scary... The l-leaves..." Akira buried his face in Dai's shoulder, his hands both gripping the front of the older man's shirt.

"Sh, I'll go see what it is," he said softly.
