He nodded, getting close enough to be able to pull Akira into a hug.

Akira buried his face in Dai's shoulder and hugged him tightly. He was still shaking in fear, now knowing that Daisuke was the one who shot the gun and that the people in the house were most likely dead or close to it.

Dai weakly patted Akira's back, trying to reassure him that everything would be okay. But even he wasn't too sure of that.

Akira eventually was able to stop crying but he didn't let go of Dai.

"It's okay.." he whispered.

Akira took a shaky breath and loosened his arms from around Dai.

Dai sighed, feeling horrible about everything. -
Akira pulled away from Dai.

"Are you okay?" he asked.

Akira nodded. He had stopped shaking with fear. "Are you?"

"Not really.." he mumbled.

"Do you still want to stay here?" Akira asked.

"We've got to.." he said softly.

"Oh.." Akira didn't really want to stay here.
