My dad might become famous for country music (in my town atleast) ^.^ It's pretty damn cool if you ask me. I love country music, and he is an amazing singer (I've never heard him, but he almost won a kareoke contest with a grand prize of a cruise). He wrote a song about Hurricane Sandy (with a double meaning about a girl named Sandy coming to your town) and his friend who owns a country radio station heard it and wants to record it and put it on the radio ^.^ I think its really cool :P

I like country rock. Like Carrie Underwood's stuff.
But things like blue grass, I'm not really a fan of. -

Blue grass is like the "Stereo Typical" kind of country.
You know, banjo, fiddle, harmonica the stereo typical thing. -
Sage- oh, i don't consider that country. I consider that hilbilly redneck music. But then again, probably not even redneck music since my moms side of the family is kinda redneck

Jimmy Rogers, The Carter Family, Johnny Cash, and Hank Williams Sr. are real country. I don't even recognize the artists you listen to as country. It really sounds closer to pop-rock to me. Look up the artists I mentioned and you'll see there's a huge difference.

Tounge- Johnny Cash is good. And, The Band Perry is kind of like 'typical country'. Look up their song 'If I Die Young'. That's very 'country'

My friend's dad is actually a travelling country musician.
His music is the only country music I can stand. Other than that, I absolutely despise country music. -
