I love it, I listen to "Hold on Till May" whenever I want to cut so I can hear Vic telling me "If I were you I'd but that away, you're just wasted and thinking about the past again, darling you'll be okay."

To be completely honest, I can't blame you. This s---'s not for everyone. I guess I just kinda listened until it didn't bother me anymore, but I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people feel like it's pointless to listen until you're used to it. It was only until quite a bit later that a started to actually appreciate it, and now I love it. I understand and respect your opinion though, considering I literally had pretty much the same opinion not too long ago.

Screaming, yeah I agree.However I don't mind Heavy Metal.I love it actually, mostly heavy sounding music with clean vocals.

I like metal, screaming or otherwise. Screamo is a misnomer actually, as screamo vocalists are technically shouting. Real screaming is something you would hear in a genre like black metal. And the there is growling, which is a death metal thing. But screamo is completely unrelated to metal. Different vocals, different sound, and they really don't even share the same DNA. Screamo comes from emo which comes from pop-punk. Metal is basically it's own rich tapestry at this point, but it originated from blues and psychedelic rock if you go back to Black Sabbath. There are some hard rock and punk and hardcore influences as well with later bands.
So in summary: metal is awesome, screaming can eat a bag of dicks, and if the two should ever be confused by anyone they will be buried alive in my backyard and forced the breathe through a straw.
Just kidding. But seriously, don't call metal screamo. That's just straight-up ignorant. -
Not what I was saying...I was saying that Screamo and rap/metal are two genres that my parents (especially my dad) dont want me listening to.

I don't like any sort of metal music, be it black or death or any other sort of subgenre. Just not my sort of thing. -
