It's the Justin Bieber of literature. -_- Everyone loves it sooooo much. But really it just got too popular too fast. I can't go a single day without hearing, "The Hunger Games!", "Are you seeing the movie?", "Peeeta!". xP People obsess and it's annoying. =_= It's like a huge inside joke. "Oh, if you read the Hunger Games you'd know". I DON'T WANT TO READ THE FUCKING BOOK! It because of other people that have annoyed me so much by talking about every single detail too much that I don't want to. -_-

Then I love the hunger games ^.^ The book more than the movie.
Although what pisses me off though is that people start to read the book the minute they see the movie trailer :P when other people have heard about it like A YEAR before the actual movie comes out and then thats when everyone starts to fall in love with it, just so they can say that they "read the book" -
Good point there, Teresa., I'm not saying that the movie sucks, but these people have got to stop being all obsessive over it

I love the Hunger Games, you can't get me wrong. But so does everyone else in my school. I read the books months before I knew about the movie. I was reading it, and I remember my friend Donny coming up to me saying it sounded and looked like a stupid book. Then, once the whole school heard it was going to be a movie, they jump on reading them. They said I was stupid for reading a good book, but once it's a movie, you go and read it and say you're the biggest fan ever. -.-

UGH Thank you, Flibber! Tons of people in my school had already read it, so when this hunger games fad came out, they were pissed.

Same happened at my school. Me and my friend read the first book before we knew there was a film. And when the film came out everyone said 'OMG have you read the books! They are epic' when they haven't even read them.

FLgirl92 NewbieIt is kind of annoying to see everyone just kind of getting on a bandwagon when I've been reading these books for three years. But it's a good story, and the movie did a really good job of putting it on screen, so if people are interested who weren't before, I guess I'm okay with that.
