Chester looked down, swinging his pocket watch in an attempt to calm himself. He was more fazed than he’d like to admit.

Jayden looked at him. "Do you want to eat?" He asked softly.

‘I don’t know,’ Chester mumbled.

"Do you want me to get you a plate and we can eat in your room?"

Chester looked down at him. What the hell did Beatrice even mean? Jayden was amazing. ‘C-Could you?’

Jayden nodded. "Yeah." He kissed Chester's cheek. "Of course I can."

Chester smiled, leaning into his touch. ‘Thank you.’

"You're welcome." Jayden smiled before going into the dining room to grab Chester's plate.

Chester watched him walk off, relaxing. He walked back to his bedroom.

Jayd walked in and waited for Chester's plate to come.
(I'm gonna go, gn!) -
(Gn!)
Chester lay down on his bed, nestling into the blankets. -
"Where's Chester?" Beatrice asked in a very fakely concerned voice.
"In bed. Someone's zapped all his energy for today." Jayden said with a very pointed glare at her. -
Beatrice pouted. ‘Such a shame. Shall I visit after dinner to make sure he’s okay?’

"Don't you dare."

Beatrice rolled her eyes, resting her chin on her palm. ‘Why is he even with you anyway?’
