Chester looked down. Maeve appeared in the seat opposite them.

‘Hi,’ Maeve said happily.

‘Nothin’,’ Maeve said.

"Doubt it." Jayden chuckled.

Maeve rolled his eyes.
‘Were you seeing Lavender again~?’ Chester said in a teasing voice.
Maeve turned bright red. ‘No!’ -
Jayden raised his eyebrows, chuckling. "Who's Lavender?"

‘Her girlfriend~’ Chester teased.
Maeve buried her face in her hands. ‘She’s NOT my girlfriend!’ -
"Oh, then who is she then? A crush? A history hates lovers scenario?" Jayden grinned. "Let me in on the drama!"

Maeve blushed harder. ‘Stoooop!’
Chester smirked. ‘She’s Maeve’s girlfriend. But she refuses to let me meet her for some reason~’ -
"Can I meet her?" Jayden laughed.

‘No! Neither of you are meeting her!’ Maeve exclaimed.
Chester smirked. ‘Maybe when I get a girlfriend we can go on a double date~’ he teased. But the word felt weird in his mouth. He couldn’t imagine himself with a girlfriend for some reason. -

Jayden chuckled, but only half of him really thinking it was funny. See?! You KNEW he was straight! You moron, stop LIKING him!
