Jayd frowned. He was tempted to make Chester take his truth telling pills and then ask him. "Then you wouldn't be acting so shady by hiding it from me." He said bluntly.

Chester buried his face in Jayden’s chest.

Jayd let him, freezing up as he did.

Chester sniffled.

Jayden held him. He paused. "Did you take those truth telling pills?"

Chester shook his head.

"Could you take them? Please?"

Chester sighed. ‘Okay.’

"Sorry, I'm just worried." Jayden mumbled.

Chester didn’t respond. He grabbed his bottle of pills and walked into the bathroom to get a cup. He filled it up with water from the basin.

Jayd leaned against a the headboard.

Chester took the pill and came back.

Jayden gave a small smile. "Can you please tell me?"

‘Tell you what?’ Chester asked, trying to play dumb.

Jayd frowned. "You know exactly why, darling."
