Jayd let him, looking down.

Chester morphed into a half dog. He lay down on his side so he wasn’t squishing his tail.

Jayden smiled, letting him.
(sorry I disappeared my computer picked the literal w o r s t time to restart) -
Chester gave a small smile, tail wagging slightly as Jayden smiled. He wanted snuggles, but he didn’t want to make Jayden uncomfortable.

You should make him snuggle Jayden. He grinned and pet Chester's ear.

Ok bet. Chester blushed, nuzzling into his touch and snuggling up close.

Jayden froze up, pulling away slightly.

Chester’s face fell, ears drooping, but he tried to mask it with a smile.

Jayd sighed, patting his head.

Chester leaned into his touch.

Jayden pulled his hand away after a moment, burying his face in his hands. What was wrong with him? Not even a day ago he wouldn't have been this much of a wreck being around Chester. Oliver said to give it time, but it felt too cruel to leave Chester in the dark like that.

Chester’s tail stopped wagging. He sat up. ‘J-Jayden? What’s wrong?’ He was scared he’d done something wrong. Again.
(Alr) -
"It's nothing." Jayden shook his head quickly.

‘It’s not nothing. Please tell me.’

"It's not your fault." Not your problem was the better way to word it, but Jayden knew Chester wouldn't believe that.
