"It-,it's not what you think" she repeated uselessly.
I roll my eyes frustrated. "Just tell me please" I beg, my voice beginning to crack.
Mia glances back at Justin, Violet at me. "It's complicated" she muttered. -
"What do you mean it's complicted?!" I yell. " I think it's quite obvious whats happening here! If it's nothing bad, you would have already easily told me! It can't be that hard!" What is actually taking so long? I am not a patient person.

Violet sighed. "It wasn't you who got in trouble with the police, Lukas. It was Tyler, but then he put the blame on you."

"What?" I don't get it, I knew I didn't do it but it still doesn't explain why she's with Justin. "Why is she with Justin though!?"

Violet rolled her eyes. "don't you get it?"
I shame my head- annoyed. "NO OF COURSE I GET IT, IM JUST ASKING FOR THE SAKE OF IT" I snap sarcastically.
Justin glares at me and I glare back. "I guess Mia just realised how much of an idiot you were" he taunts.
But I'm still not given the explanation I need. -
"What do you mean I was an idiot?"

I don't get it! I've never been an idiot to her! I've only ever loved her, I've always cared for her. Why would she go to Justin out of everyone!?

"I'm gonna ask you one more time. If you don't give me an honest answer, I'm going to Lanoo Island without you guys." I stated. This time, I wasn't joking. "Why. Is. Mia. With. Justin?" I said, emphasizing every word.

"There not together..."Violet starts.
''I'll tell him" Mia says. "I'm planning to stay with him because theres no way I can even look at you for another second!" She starts walking away and calls "Enjoy your time at Lanoo island sucker!" -
"That's not an honest answer! You're being sarcasti-" I started loudly, but she was already gone. I couldn't hold it anymore. I started to sob again, knowing that there was no chance to ever see her with me again.

''Come on, we need to go to..." starts August.
"I don't give a s**t about Lanoo island!" I yell.
"Please, you know how much we've all planned for this." whispers Violet. "It might help yoj forget about Mia."
I sigh then slowly follow them to the car. I know I won't make the whole month there. -
I furiously wipe the tears from my face and urge forwards. I am angry, I am upset and I am thirsty for revenge on Justin. I know that's stupid, I should be happy for Mia that's she's found someone she cares about but right now I just want to punch Justin in the face for taking her away from me.

The thing that angers me most is that a few weeks ago she was talking about how much she hates the popular kids especially Justin. It feels like she's with him just to get back at me.

This has been the worst summer break of my entire life. I couldn't stop crying, and I still couldn't think straight after what had happened. After all, I just wanted an answer to a simple question.
There were many thoughts in my mind. Why did she betray me? Why did she leave me, for that stupid Justin? Why did he call me an idiot in front of the whole park? Violet and August didn't seem to care either. They were only focused on Lanoo Island, the trip to Lanoo Island. Maybe that's why i'm furious with them.
