There was only one thing I could think of for why Mia betrayed me: she just didn't want me anymore. She's tired of me, and she changed her mind about Justin. Perhaps he convinced Mia to believe all of the rumors about me.
It hurts, because I thought Mia loved me. But I guess not enough to choose me over Justin. -
The car ride to the bout was all a blur, literally. I couldn't see anything because of the tears that coated my eyes. All I can remember is Violet and August muttering something about weather or not they'll get their money back since they payed for Mia to come as well. It annoys me so much that money is what they care most about right now. I can't even remember going on to the boat. But here I am now, on the boat with the aqua, shimmering water of Lanoo island in sight.

I stared at Lanoo Island. The boat's driver said it would take 'about one or two' hours, but the island looked like it was only ten minutes away. Maybe it was because of my blurry eyesight at that time, or it was probably because the island was really big, at least from my experience. All I knew was it wouldn't be long before we got there.

II couldn't bear the thought of stepping onto the white sand of Lanoo island without holding Mia's hand. I don't know how I'm going to do this. I looked to my right and realise wait, I can still walk onto Lanoo island with Mia! Because I spot her sitting a few seats away from me.

To be honest, I actually found myself smiling as I noticed Mia. Sure, I knew she betrayed me, but at least I wasn't completely alone, with only two of my friends there to help. Mia was probably trying her hardest not to look back at me, though, given by the expression on her face.

I pished throigh the crowd to try get to her, but then, she was gone. I looked around, then saw her running away from me.

"Lukas, what are you doing again?" August said from our seats, and Violet sighed and said something I couldn't understand. "Get away from me, sucker!" I heard from the other side of the boat. It was probably Mia running away from me.

Why did Mia come if she didn't want to see me? We booked the same room to stay in so how are we going to avoid eachother for a month?

Where was Justin, though? I sighed and sat back into my seat, slumping into it. "Guys, you don't need to worry about your stupid money business thing. Mia's coming on the trip anyway," I mentioned to August and Violet. They both looked at each other and sighed.
"Why are you so focused on Mia?" Violet said. "Yeah! This whole trip was planned so that you could forget about her and move on, you know?" August added on, and I groaned. It's like I was informing them about a completely different subject, but I couldn't do anything. -
"Why do you think I'm focused on Mia!?" I shout. I feel many eyes on me, but why should I care? "I'm focused on her because she was the love of my life! Now I have f**king no one!" I take a big breath. "I really loved her. I feel like there's no meaning in life if she's not in it!"
I look behind me and realise that one of the pairs if eye's looking at me was Mia's. She heard the whole thing. -

I can't believe Mia heard me, I rush out of sight. I can't talk to anyone right now. We haven't even arrived at the island and the trip is already a disaster! -
Suddenly, everyone on the boat started to murmur to one another, like kids whispering secrets to each other. It was clear that I had upset everyone on the boat, but I didn't realize that until we got to Lanoo Island.
"Mind your language!" someone shouted from the seat behind me.
"It's fine, everyone!" Mia stated nervously. "C'mon, Justin, let's go." she nudged Justin, standing up. She gave me a dirty stare, and disappeared away with Justin. -
Justin... why is Justin here! Ugh! And where is Mia going to sleep?! We booked the same room, she can't just ditch me and stay in Justin's room!... right?
I look around as people give me weird looks as they walk past. Some of the expresions they make are hard to read, I can't tell if they are angry, amused, sad for me or concerned. I shake my head and go into the building, get the key to my room and slump onto the bed. Then Mia comes in, I really didn't think she would come. -
