Holli slowly climbed down the building, cautiously watching her footing and grip. When she was about 1 foot above the ground, she jumped a rather successful jump. Charlie, however decided to jump down from a higher point- probably just to show off- William thought. He landed on his right leg in a rather awkward position.
-
'Show off,' William muttered. 'So, where do we hide?'
'Somewhere close to the hospital. That alleyway should do,' Charlie said, pointing to an alley.
'I've been in enough alleyways to say that's a terrible idea,' Holli huffed.
(Wait, what happened to Jason?) -
(Uhm he left the hospital room and we didn't say anything after that 😂)
"Ditto" William agreed. "If I did t know any better, I'd think this was a trap. Middle of the night. Dark alleyway. Someone who used to be an enemy, could still be one"
Holli sighed. "You don't have to go that far Will, but I'm not going down that path" she muttered. -
Charlie huffed. 'I'm being serious! Why won't you two believe me?'
'Because you tried to kill her!' William exclaimed, stepping in front of Holli. 'I could never trust you again!' -
Holli squeezed William's hand comfortingly then turned to Charlie. "I never said I don't trust you, I said I don't trust alleyways, but if your absolutely certain then I guess we could try" she stated.
Charlie rolled his eyes at his younger brother. "At least someone's got sense here" he muttered, smiling at Holli.
William chuckled dryly. "Fine but if you try ANYTHING, and I mean anything I will personally kill you!" he snapped, the threat of death arising yet again.
"That won't be necessary, thanks" Charlie muttered.
Holli gave a small smile, turning to William. "You need to chill out Will, not everything is painted black and white" -
'Yeah, there are colours, too,' he huffed, then gently kissed Holli's forehead. 'Alright, let's go.'
They walked into the alleyway. Water dripped from the gutters and their only light was the moon, so they could barely see. -
Charlie had a look of triumph spread across his face as he led the pair down the alleyway. Of course going down a dark alleyway in the middle of the night is never a good idea.
-
(I don't know what to put)
-
(wait, is he gonna betray them or be good?)
-
(Maybe Good, we can't trust anybody in this story 🤣)
-
(alrighty)
Charlie sat down, and William and Holli followed heed, William keeping a close eye on Charlie. The older boy raised his eyebrows at the younger one and leaned against the wall.
'So, we may as well talk about something while we're here,' Charlie said.
'Won't that attract attention to us?' William snapped.
'It won't if we talk quietly,' the former responded. -
Holli sighed sitting down between the two brothers. Charlie looked at the latter and smiled, much to William's annoyance.
"Why are we even sat down? Waiting for something Charlie?" his younger brother snapped. -
'No,' Charlie said, a little amused by his brother's caution. 'Are you?'
'Yes, waiting for you to betray us.'
'You'll be waiting a long time, cos I'm not gonna.'
'I wouldn't bet on that.'
'I would.' -
"Enough fighting already!" Holli hissed a little to loudly.
William jumped causing his brother to laugh, creating a burst of anger inside the former.
"Sorry, I'm not the one with the trust issues"
"I'm not the one who's tried to murder you" he muttered but both of them shut up after that.
After a few minutes, Holli glanced at them both. "Look, it's creepy sitting here- and William does have a point" she paused waiting for a reaction from Charlie. He was glaring at William, but nothing else.
"Let's carry on, anyone have a phone?" She whispered the last word just incase their were any passers-by. -
'Mine's out of battery,' William huffed.
'Only a cell phone,' Charlie pulled out a small cell phone. 'Why?'
