She just thought it was him being kind, so she didn't point out how weird it was. She glanced around her. 'Has it been an hour?' she asked, wanting to get back into the hospital and get the care she needed.
'No. 36 minutes,' Charlie said, glancing at the clock on his phone. 'It gives us more time together, though.'
'Yeah, more time for you and William to end your stupid rivalry. I don't know why you two hate each other.' -
"I don't hate him, he misjudges me, you know I didn't want to kidnap or hurt you, I was forced you know, threatened" he whispered tucking a strand of hair behind Holli's ear. Holli pulled away, surprised by his actions.

'Yeah, I know,' Holli muttered, glancing back at William. 'But we don't know who we can trust. For all the times you've tried to.. you know - I can't blame William for being cautious.

"I get it" Charlie whispered, unnerving Holli. "He's your boyfriend, and we're arguing and you want to stick up for him and bla bla bla, so why don't you? Why do you stock up for both of us?"
Holli stuttered. "I think you both have fair points" she muttered. -
Charlie made a 'hmph' sound and looked away.

Holli rolled her eyes. "Look, I did say William was exaggerating didn't I?" She argued.

'You did,' Charlie huffed.

"So why are you annoyed then?" She snapped feeling rather confused and frustrated.
(Has this turned into a roleplay where you're Charlie and I'm Holli?😂😂😂) -
(maybe we've gotta move this thread to the Stage 😂)
'I..' he muttered, 'It doesn't matter. Go back to sleep, you need rest.'
Holli glared but lay back down next to William and closed her eyes, but didn't fall asleep. -
Charlie took his phone back out wondering how he'd messed up that bad in a matter of five minutes. Holli lay awake, thinking about how everything hd happened, how quickly people could change, and why the hell they were sleeping in the middle of a dark alleyway.

Eventually, she fell back asleep and Charlie reached over, brushing a curl out of her face affectionately. He sat back down and scrolled social media once again, his battery on 5%.

Holli stirred slightly at Charlie's touch but didn't wake. However, William has been awake for the past five minutes and grunted with anger as his older brother brushed a strand of hair off his girlfriend's face.

'Charlie,' he hissed, sitting up. 'Don't touch her, especially without consent.'
'She's asleep, she can't give consent in the first place,' Charlie huffed. -
"Exactly" William snapped glaring at his brother who scowled back. He lay back down but didn't sleep.

Charlie watched his brother for a moment before looking away, leaning back against the wall.
