Bambi NovicePhew, just killing! (Still a little weird but oh well, as long as I'm not getting killed!) I thought when you said 'graphic adult books' you meant things about sex. Okay I'm just going to shut the hell up now... *Zips mouth*
-
rachcab21 NewbieHaha! I was thinking about the samething! Good thing alltime brought the killing part up! Haha! I would rather read a book 'bout killing than reading sexual instruction!!!! Ew...I'm learning that in Health!!!!
-
Bambi NoviceOh my gosh, poor you. We had the sex talk in our formroom WITH THE GUYS and then Will just went up to Chloe and went: I don't need any instruction with you, babe... And then they started making out and I was just like: There's no point in giving THEM a sex talk then... LoL
-
Anastasia NoviceWow LoL, we had to learn sex ed at the end of 8th grade in science last year. And the class was boys and girls so it was a bit awkward

Does anyone read Eva Ibbotson's books? My favorite is (Journey to the river sea)
It was amazing! -
I read one of her's with the butterfly on the cover. I don't really like her writing that much, though.
Whoa, major topic change! -
I thought this thread was about sex.
-
WTF
-
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm still learning about the...thingy? And it's disgusting! But I'm still young...still young.
Hmm...I hav 2 read those books. What r they about? -
Well, Journey to the river sea is about this orphan girl that goes to see her relatives that live in the amazon, of course, she's excited becuase she lives in England, so Brazil is something new to her, she meets this boy who's an actor, but doesn't get paid and has a crappy life, on the boat to Manaus, which is in brazil, then she meets another boy who's Indian, and his dad was from England but he went to Brazil to study plants and stuff, but he died 'cause his boat sank, and this indian kid is being looked for becuase his grandad from his dad's side doesn't have anyone to inherit his mansion when he dies, so he wants his grandson, only the Indian kid doesn't want to go, so when he meets the girl and the actor boy who wanted to get a better life, they decided to let the actor boy go to the indian kid's grandad's mansion and pretend he's him, so that then he's rich and happy, and the indian kid stays home with his family.
That was just a summary, but there's loads more.
It was so nice! I also read 'The secret of platform thirteen' and I'm gonna read 'Dial a ghost' soon.
But honestly, sometimes her books are a little TOO imaginative. But Journey to the river sea was the best! -
Cool!I love dial a ghost!

Have you read or heard of a book called 'The palace of laughter' by Jon Berkely? I've only got seven chapters left and I'm finished with it. It's pretty amazing.
