My grandpa on my mom's side is Irish and Italian. His wife, my grandma, is completely Prussian German. My grandpa on my dad's side is mainly Dutch, and some English, but really besides the Dutch we don't know for sure. His wife, my other grandma, is Czech, Austrian and Polish.
And I'm an American mutt with no hometown. :P -
I'm a mutt too. I'll try to keep this brief. On my mom's side, I'm French and Irish from my grandmother, and French Canadian, Algonquin Indian and Scots-Irish from my grandmother. My father's side of the family is all European Jews, so they are very ethnically mixed. There's probably German, Polish, Spanish, and Austrian mixed in, and maybe more. I might also have Gypsy blood from my paternal grandmother.

My great-grandmother (mom side) was a full-blooded Apache.
Grandmother was Irish and Apache.
Grandfather was Irish.
Mom is Irish and Apache, but more Irish.
Father says he's Scottish (logically then all predecessor are also) ,but there's a fair amount of question here. -
I forgot the minute bits of Dutch and Cherokee from my mom's side.

On my Mom's side, My Grandmother is Irish and my Grandfather was also Irish, I think. My great-Grandmother was Irish also, and my great Grandfather was Russian.
My dad's side is all Jamaican, and Virgin Island-ian. -
Oh yes and my Great great grandfather is German

Well. We are continuing the Genetic Research Project, and we found people of all kinds of backgrounds. I'll just list them. In the order that the ones I am presumably most related to are listed first and the really far back ones last.

Swedish/Norwegian (may be either)

Prussian
Greek (Doric especially)
Persian
Others that we haven't proved but are very likely there:
Apache
Black
Cherokee
Some of these were a long way back and therefore only about 1% of actual genetic makeup.
These were found when we traced ourselves all the way back to Seleucus and Ptolemy I.
Those of you who saw the "HOLY SHENANIGANS." thread, we intensively fact-checked this line and used many other reliable sources. We're damn sure of this, and it would really suck if we were not right. But we should be. -
I'm a total mutt :3 But I love it! I'm Italian, English, German, Icelandic, Irish, and Native American! (Chippewa and Sue) However, I'm mostly Irish and Italian!

It's weird, my dad's dad's side is pretty much unknown, except for the Dutch which is a definite. They always say English, with some possible Cherokee, but the truth isn't known. I typically leave those two out, and just go with my 3/4s knowledge. .3.

I'm just going to call that 1/8 American. :P A mix of English settlers and Native American.
