Michigan NewbieEgo tu amo. The verb is usually on the end. At least that's how I've always seen it. And I'm sure it's amo. Amare is just what google translate wants you to think ;)

Amo, one word. The ending can be changed like "amat" means he/she/it loves and amant means "they love"

"Te" is the accusative form of "you," because it's the direct object.
"Amo" is the first person, present, active form of "love."
(You could add "ego" to it, but it's not necessary as the person is implied in the verb.) -
