You know you're from New York when you pronounce the "t" in the middle of "water" and a slurred "d"
Sage- oh, you meant Brooklyn. You didn't put the "City" after "New York" so I thought you meant the state. A lot of people tend to refer to the City as New York when they don't live in the state, and then many people also tend not to think about the state as much. -
