My great great grandfather on my dads side of the family came over from Czechalslovakia (I think that's how it was spelled). It was before it split into the Czech Republic and Slovakia, so I'm Czech. I had recently asked my grandmother about my heritage on her side (my dads side) and that's what she told me. She also said that her grandfather had taught her a lot of Czech, but she was having a senior moment and the only thing she could remember was "Can I have an apple?" And I forgot how to say it in Czech xD. I'm currently trying to teach myself how to speak Czech (all I know so far is "hello" and "goodbye" though xD)

I'm not, but we had a foreign exchange student from Slovakia. and she's here right now for college. and I know an old lady thats Czech.

I'm at least 1/8 Slovak. x3 They all lived in the Spis region of Slovakia.

I just found out a few weeks ago that I know 2 Czech people in my grade at school and I didn't even know it

I wish I was able to know my great grandmother better. She lived there, and spoke the language.
