Thread Topic: Beta Testing New Quiz-Maker

I am testing out a new quiz making process -> Try it out.
Only test-type quizzes are supported right now. A computer/laptop is recommended instead of mobile. Mobile should work, but it's not ideal to work on a small screen.
I am interested to know if you experience any errors or if anything strange happens. I also want to know if you find anything confusing or difficult about it.
If you try this out, let me know your feedback and also which device/browser you used. Thanks!Admin -
It looks nice. Still has a 90s vibe.
-
it says
The two quiz paragraphs are two similar.
shouldnt it be too -
You can't edit a quiz after making it
-
After making a quiz with it, the whole thing feels very smooth and pretty well polished. Although, I do feel like the 'auto-generated password' thing could get a little annoying, especially if people like to keep most passwords the same so they don't have to have the hassle of trying to remember hundreds upon hundreds of passwords.
Looks great though!
Heres the quiz I made with it: -
^no one cares about shaman king
-
^Apparently enough people do for it to have 3 spin-off series, 2+ games, a tv series, an offer for a remake of the tv series, figures, aaaand a website based around it.
-
Relevant NewbieI agree the password thing will getannoying
-
like the others, i think the random password generating thing will be a little annoying for some. it'd be nice to be able to pick our own passwords, that way we won't have to remember a bunch of random ones. other than that, i like the format and think making a quiz with this will be a lot easier.
-
example on why you people are weebs
-
I don't hate the random password generating tool. The password are not that hard to memorize. But, if the quizzes are more and the passwords all different, the author might find it difficult to log in to their quizzes.
The overall improvement is good. I like that the answers per-question has been increased to eight and the parting words has been decreased to 100 words.
I don't think that we can make 1 question quizzes anymore with this new update. But that ain't bad, right? -
Thanks guys!
I'm glad to see favorable impressions, although it seems the password system is not loved. I'll have to consider allowing custom passwords, although it should also become possible to get back to unfinished quizzes from your user account.
As for editing, it will be added. So will previewing your quiz.
It's true, answers can be as many as eight and parting words is down to 100 characters. So are the result descriptions. Also, the max number of questions is increased to 60. And the age / gender questions are GONE.
Did you notice, from the question list on the right side, you can easily reorder, delete or edit questions?
When I have the other two quiz types finished, I eventually want to replace the old system with this one. -
i'm not sure if you specifically had it in mind, but i certainly appreciate the age and gender questions being removed, especially the gender question, because some of us here do identify as nonbinary, including myself. that was very considerate of you to do
-
^No, because the majority identifies as either male or female. You must be really bored if a one-second question about gender on some dumb quiz-making section bothers you.
-
it never really bothered me, in fact i never thought much of it, but i am a bit relieved to see it removed. i'm sure maybe someone else, user on the forums or just a random person clicking on this site by chance, would also be a bit happy to see that. just saying lol
