Who would care? No one, jfc.

1714 why are you trying to start an argument?
Many sites no longer have just male and female options for gender. It's more inclusive.
The only thing those questions are getting used for is to suggest quizzes on result pages that were rated highly by others in the same age / gender group. Honestly I doubt many people care about it, and overall it's just not a very useful requirement. -
anyhow, thank you for removing the gender question, the new quiz making format looks great and i can't wait to use it in the future, and i'm glad progress is being made when it comes to updating the site. that's all i wanted to say
-
Ah yes, the whole 'reorganizing questions' thing. I noticed that it looks like I could have done that, but I never actually put it to the test. I think that's actually pretty cool! I personally can't think of a way that it'd be needed, but i'm sure someone else will. As for editing a question more easily, that's very nice as well.
Now, regarding the 'gender and age' subject, I have seen some sites just say 'male, female, other' if the gender option was a necessity. Of course, taking it out is actually a nice idea in my opinion since the gender and age question have never seemed very important whenever I made a quiz. This way, if gender and age actually matters to the person making the quiz, they can implement the question themselves rather than being forced to ask it. -
Taking the gender question out, it doesn't seem to be a problem. We can add a gender based question in the quiz, can't we? I mean, we can ask, "What's your gender?".
-
Sure, you can add that question if you want!
-
when i said shouldn't it be too?
i meant as in
Two paragraphs are too similar
and not
Two paragraphs are two similar -
gtq guy I will stop creating arguments if you make me a mod ;')

I liked it for the most part, but like many other users and for the same reasons, I'm not a fan of the password generator.
Another thing that hasn't been mentioned yet is that it's all on one page. Yes, this makes things quicker, but it is much easier to muddle boxes up and I preferred creating quizzes when each step was on a different page. I know most people will not agree with this or my reasoning, but this is my opinion.
Otherwise, it is a great update. I love the fact that you can delete and reorder the questions without having to get to the summary page (or, in reordering's case, not being able to at all). -
I fixed the two -> too issue, good catch!

Thanks for your thoughts, Moonflower. The amount of clutter on the new, single page quiz system was a concern of mine. I added the "tutorial" messages at the last minute to help explain things and reduce confusion. But even though it's a lot on one page, I think it's a benefit to be able to add or edit anything at any time and see the quiz building up on the right side.
Speaking of the tutorial messages, are they too much? Too little? Just right? -
One last question: when you hit the Publish This Quiz button, did it take you to a login page or the "Your Quiz Has Been Created" page?
-
The pass phrase wasn't generated for me this time. What's up with that?
I guess that's my browser's problem. Besides, is the new system applicable for computers? Not for mobiles? -
I don't know about others, but I am personally not a fan of tutorials in general. Most of the quiz system is fairly self explanatory.
