Thread Topic: this lock on owners request thing is kinda ridiculous
-
threads (except maybe the ones explicitly based around a user) aren't their property, they exist for conversation and entertainment not for the creator to feel good about (even though that is an OK side effect). the idea the creator can have it locked on command is BS, and if that feature is wanted it should be added instead of needing to hassle mods.

I'm fairly neutral on the subject and don't see too much of a problem, but I'm interested to know what everyone else thinks.
-
^no they don't
Translation: People I like can only make a valid input. -
I just laugh because the current mods are all twits and Geek still isn't one
-
You'd call Geek a twit if he was one.
-
admittedly, yes
but
exhibit a) all the moderators cling on to the hivemind once they realize they won apopularity contesttotally democratic and fair moderator election that isn't totally controlled by nepotism! (was even admitted by one of the moderatorslulz, br0wniebunny -
I actually had access to one of the mods accounts until I forgot their password (it was given to me voluntarily by them).
-
are they completely retarded
you should have just f---ed around in their account to teach them a lesson that you can't trust anybody on the webz -
I'm not an a--hole.
-
everyone on here is one -
I came back to this excited to see 8 new posts thinking there would be all kinds of new input and it was all just drew whining again
-
^totally whining
-
yes, whining
i'm neutral on the subject too, i don't really see a problem and thought it was fair to lock threads on command because you guys can't, also if we didn't do that some of you guys would probably complain that we have too much power
