Quite frankly I have no idea what a proxy is
-
I know of 5 good ones and there are even more out there.
-
All I know is it has something to do with using a different server
-
Not everyone uses computers anyway. I've been using a mobile device since before I came here.
-
No. Look as Suger explained earlier. You forget your password, but what if you for your second account you forgot that one, or you got hacked? Now then you're screwed. I see a tiny logic to this, but hey I'm just one person.
-
It changes your ip address.
And users with a dial up connection have constantly chaging ip address. -
You can use a proxy on a mobile device. I do.
-
And building a proxy isn't hard.
I could probaly secure several more domains and build some proxies for gotoquiz. -
Anri... Sometimes it helps to read all the posts as I have already stated a solution for losing passwords and getting hacked
-
I looked up what a proxy was, I read what you guys said it was, and I'm still not at the brain power right now to fully understand what it is. So if I'm using one without knowing, cool, but if not, I'm not going to try switching around.

^^^What Moyashi stated
I love you
Mobile phones have IPs too -
I'm on an iPod, always have been, so I don't know for sure.
-
Any device connecting to the internet gets a temporary IP address
-
Is it the same IP that the router (I think that's it) would have?
Like your computer has an IP address. If you connect to the internet that connects to that computer, are they the same? Or is it different because one is wireless and the other is connected by cords? -
Not sure but I think wifis and cords have differents IPs
