My friend has an older brother who doesn't have many friends and she thinks that if I became his girlfriend, he might make some friends since I know alot of people.
Bad thing is...I've never talked to the guy....he just keeps to himself alot...We were partners in P.E. a few weeks ago but we never talked even then. I tried to start a conversation but..again unresponsive...
I've only seen him smile once....and other people I've asked about him say that he barely ever talks to anyone.
Should I give it a shot and let her set us up on a date? -

I do too, but the problem is, even when I try to talk to him..or anyone tries to talk to him....he just gives them a weird look and walks away.

It sounds like she has good intentions, but you should only do it if it is something you want.

I agree with tongue. Don't force yourself or him into something if it's not what you truly want.
It sounds like he has trouble trusting new people. What I would do is quietly spend more time around him, not forcing him into a conversation. Over time he might become more comfortable with you being there and open up a bit. Just show him you truly care and want to get to know him, if that's what you want. :3 -
