Thread Topic: I hate when married couples begin to flirt with other people

I've noticed my dad doing a lot of flirting. :\ It's making me kind of angry.
-
How old is he?
-
Mid-thirties. He's been with my mom for like thirteen years, and I've noticed a lot of fighting between them so.... yea.
Eh, I'm just stressed and keep finding things to worry about :\ Sorry. -
I hate that too! My parents don't flirt with other people but there has been guys flirting with my mom before and they're like MARRIED and it upsets me when my mom is laughing and smiling with them. HELLO MOM YOU HAVE AN EFFIN HUSBAND /:
-
SAME HERE LIL. My mom does that occasionally, especially with the guys in my neighborhood.
When I get married, or if I do, I will NEVER do that -_- I'll be friendly, but I'll watch what I do/say, unlike some people I know... -
They say your thirties is when you reach your sexual peak
Harmless flirting is fine, it's the choice whether or not he decides to act upon it is what you should worry about. -
Oh, really? :\ I didn't know that.
Yeah, I read that on fb too... but again, I just don't want him to act upon them at all.
I need to go to sleep and stop worrying xP -
They say your thirties is when you reach the 'sexual peak'. If your dad is in his mid thirties, then he's still there. Then at forty you're more likely to turn gay--- *SHOT*
I mean, minor flirting is fine, but if you notice him doing anything.. Well, 'major', you should tell someone. :/ -
I don't care if my parents split up. But if they remarry, the step-parent's going to go "missing".
-
When I'm married I'll never flirt with anyone else, I'll have no need to, since I'm not marrying unless I'm totally serious.
Psh, I'm 16 and already gay. xD Well, half gay hehe. -
I would hate it if my future husband flirted with someone else, but then again I'm being quite hypocritical. :/
-
It's duisgusting when people do that.
-
tongue AdvancedEh, I don't see much wrong with flirting, if that's all you plan to do. I would be a little worried to see one of my parents flirting if they had been fighting recently. It's all about what the two people expect from each other. Some women will b---- you out for flirting with a waitress; some women will let you screw a waitress in the middle of the restaurant. I personally prefer a happy medium, where you know a girl won't cheat because she wouldn't let you cheat, but where you also have a little leeway and aren't completely emasculated. I would hate to be in relationship where a girl acted like she owned me.
-
I agree with Tongue.
However, I must say that it's more often where the guy acts like he owns the girl.
But yeah, flirting good, as long as you don't do or say anything too stupid. -
tongue Advanced@Ting- only women reach their sexual peak at 30. I don't know about men, it's probably closer to 20 for us.
@Musicgirl- You're absolutely correct. However I do find that older successful women either wear the pants or butt heads with their husbands. A woman acting like she owns a man is a bit rare, though. I'm just thinking of the b---- girlfriend that Stu had in The Hangover, and also my jealousy-queen ex-girlfriend.
