tongue ExperiencedLeviticus? LMAO. Leviticus also says it's wrong to eat shellfish and slavery is okay so long as your slaves aren't Christians. It doesn't matter that Leviticus says homosexuality is wrong because Leviticus is garbage.

I don't agree with it at all...but I don't really care if it's illegal or not. Right now it's legal in certian states and illegal in other states, that's just fine with me.

The bible wasn't writen by God. It was writen by HUMANS and humans make mistakes. Therefore it's my opinion that the Bible has a few flaws, and when it says you aren't allowed to be gay, that's one of the errors. :P

The Bible is the Word of God. In Revelation it says not to add or take away from the Bible.
The point is, this shouldn't even be a discussion of religion. America has no official religion or support of a single philosophy, therefore laws should not be based on it. We are a country of freedom and different lifestyles. Let gays live their lives the way they want and churches live theirs. -
tongue ExperiencedI didn't call the Bible garbage, only Leviticus. If I thought the whole book was garbage I wouldn't have bothered quoting something that was in it.

Totally agree with tbk. People said slavery was okay, and that proved to be wrong. People said women were stupid, that proved to be wrong. People say gays are an abomination. They're wrong. Honestly, do humans learn anything? I think we speak too soon and hold too much faith in what we want to know. 'The earth is round' 'Black people don't think the same way as white people' 'If you go past the horizon line, you'll fall of the world'. Then years later we criticize ourselves for our stupidity and start the process over again.
