14 year old(turns 15 in 2 weeks) is dating a 18 year old, and they have sex BUT BUT BUT the 14 year old is all like "I was the one who wanted it, they were hesitant" but like no one other than you and them and like three other humans know about their thingies... O.o would that be illegal? O.o or only if he gets her pregnant? O.o I don't understand, and honestly idgaf about the girl, I'm more concerned about my friend since he was the one who was hesitant I'm the first place. And like he messaged me yesterday saying that if he ever tried to break up with her, she'd use that against him... So I'm kind of like o.o wtf??? -3- wow, you don't care about the girl? Yeah, no I really don't. She admitted to have cheated on her last girlfriend, and she hates me for god only knows what reason. Then she's like a super attention whore, and likes to use her boobs as click bait, and that really pisses me off bc she's dating this guy yet she doesn't even let anything with boobs talk to him. jdjdjdjsj I'm just going to stop there. e e that's it. If he really wants to, tell him to break up with her. I mean, if he goes to court.. He can just say like "I was hesitant. She actually wanted it."
And like clarifying that she wanted it will send him away with a small warning bc you can't do anything if both wanted it. BUT BUT he might not. If he explains and like makes it known that he's sorry for doing it

In Nevada, 16 is the age for legal consent. If an 18 year old has sex with anyone under the age of 16, then they can be prosecuted by law, even if it was consensual. So, sadly, it is illegal, and your friend could go to jail (or at least be prosecuted) even though the situation is most likely this girls fault.

I kind of feel like I sort of set him up for failure though??
Like, in the beginning of the year he was interested in me and like really "innocent" since he'd never had a girlfriend before but like I was like lol no bye because I was dating someone at that time
He was in charge of supplies and I was paper human so like we were in the same room a lot and like last year I think he too helped me with trousers
Anyway
the girl I'm talking about also liked him but he kept saying he only saw her in a friend way, and I was like "OK?"
But like then stuff and stuff and stuff happened he asked me out, I was like no m8 date Valerie instead, she's you're friend, but she really likes you
Again because I was dating a human at that time, little did I know it was going to crash and burn like literally a couple days, if not weeks after this
And so yeah they started dating and wee they got into the sex and yeah
Idk he clearly told me various times he didn't like her like that, but I was like "date her" over and over again and like I feel like the only reason he did that was bc I told him
I mean at that time I didn't know she was a f---ing moron who went around flirting with every f---ing guy in our ROTC class e e until she transferred in

Basically all I hope is that he turns out okay, and that the human doesn't seem and up pregnant bc they both have a future ahead of them and I hope it doesn't get ruined

So, as someone who knows quite a bit about law (last year at a Nationally respected Criminal Justice Program) It is all subject to state. Depending on the state it would be considered rape, with or without consent as it is an adolescent and legally speaking, and adult. But, if the two parties where in a relationship BEFORE the older turning 18, many states have passed the "Romeo and Juliet Law", allowing the relationship to continue. Otherwise, just hope nobody found out, and pray to every god you can think of that someone isn't pregnant, because that would prove disastrous and result in discovery and a legal process, not to mention families having inward turmoil. That's all I have to say, and a lot of it just comes down to morals. Well, good luck.
