Bulls---. It takes a lot of time to know someone and hence, fall for them. Even your opinion on someone's appearance changes as time passes.

There's a reason it's called love at first sight. It should be called damn they fine. What I'm saying is that love doesn't always take time because the dictionary definition of the noun 'love' is an intense feeling of deep affection which doesn't imply that, let's say the woman, isn't necessarily in love with the man and his personality, but more so just his appearance.

Love is deep affection. Liking someone for their appearance is a form of attraction, which, as Haunted stated, is lust. Not love.

Yeah. Love needs time, and if you're lucky, your love will improve with time, just like wine. Affection cannot simply come by admiring someone's good looks.

Agreed. But actually most loves start with lust. So it's not a bad thing if you date someone because they're hot.

I fell for my ex because of his sexy hair and neck. AND NOW, I am in so much love with him that my all methods to get over him have failed. -
But don't date someone who is only hot and has no personality of his/her own.

The conditions where I eventually fell for someone, and loved them even when I really didn't want to...
It can be a choice, but sometimes some people just steal your heart. And you know they will break it, but you can't help it. -
I disagree.
Even with people you find it easy to love, spending time with them is up to you. Treating them well is a choice. And metacognitive indulgence of your emotions is a choice.
It sounds dreadfully romantic to say you cant help but love someone, but its really just not the truth.
