He looked around a bit, afraid someone would catch up to him and take him away. The prince was so scared, he began to hyperventilate at the thoughts quietly. He hopped to a more clear spot, bad idea, and settings with his feet to the side.
He tried to calm himself and regain a normal breathing pattern. Perhaps guards were looking for him now and the battle was over. Or his home, that contained all his belongings and some good memories was being burned to the ground all the while he'd ran away. Sakura began to sob softly and it gradually built up. "I wanna go home...I just want to be in bed, being served breakfast..." He wiped his eyes on the delicate sleeves of his kimono, but the tears continued.
He was so caught up in his sadness, the youngling was unaware of the other prince and samurai that were approaching. But if one touched him, he had a rock in hand. It wasn't a very good weapon, but a good hit to the head could buy him some time. -
He sensed that someone else was there. He could feel a presence. He stiffened and stepped forward, and suddenly he heard hopping.. Most likely the first person was trying to escape. Or run for cover. Whichever was very likely. At that point Kabu felt the need to feel relieved, which wasn't the best thing to do. He could still be outsmarted.
He stood behind a tree, and peeked again. If the coast seemed clear, he'd step up. If not, he'd wait until the person's guard was down. He held an object in hand. A rock, probably? A hit to the head was the worst that could happen in the situation that he throws it. And Kabu was willing to run the risk of that.
He held his own weapon very firmly, and stepped up so that he, in his armor, was visible. -
He stopped and slowly turned. Kuso...Samurai... He began shaking, fearing that his existance would end here. His hand tightened around the small object as he prepared to throw it.
He stared at the other for a moment and tried to keep his breathing steady. The prince didn't know what possessed him to ask, but words flowed from his mouth. "What do you want from me...? Can't you see I'm in no condition to fight?!" He attempted to make the man feel weak about going after someone who was both unarmed and injured, well not full unarmed. But a rock isn't going to be much help against a sword.
Sakura tried to think of a way out. Even if he managed to hit him square in the face, he still wouldn't be able to run and find a place to hide. It was an extremely sticky situation... -
Well then, he seemed a little innocent. Or she.. Well, Kabu didn't know. He just knew that there didn't seem to see much threat with that person. Especially since the question asked seemed.. Well, demeaning in a way. But he tried to ignore that.
"What are your intentions? That is all I want to know," he said, not answering the latter of the other's questions. He felt no need to use the katana as a threat, unless he wouldn't be answered of course. Then it'd have to be used.
Not saying he wanted to. Now he didn't want to be hit with that rock. Usually the odds were against him, and most likely he would be hit by that rock in the head. That would definitely not be good news. -
"Leave me alone...I just wanted to get away from home..." The prince grit his teeth behind his lips and attempted to move back a few steps causing him to stumble a bit.
His grip on the object was so firm and closed that he felt he might not let go when he threw it, but he took a chance and hurled it at the other, not waiting to see if it even hit, he began running once more. Stumbling so much that he just eventually fell flat on the ground. He groaned, trying to pick himself up.
But at least he'd gotten some distance away, enough so that the other would be out of range to see him. But as he tried to relax, something felt off. The presence of that man hadn't left, he was still near. He carefully sat up, searching his surroundings and shivering from both fear and the temperature drop. -
A split second was all that separated the young samurai and the rock. When it hit, it hit his face, mostly his nose actually. That caused blood to drip down from his down, all the way to his chin. "b------.." he swore under his, trying to wipe the crimson liquid away with his sleeve.
Well, the hit most certainly gave the person some time. Now he wasn't within the ability for him to see the other easy. Though there was no way he.. uh, she could have gotten so far in a little amount of time. They'd have to be nearby...
He held his nose as he searched, trying to stop the flow of blood. He didn't want to bleed to death. That'd be a really fabulous way to die.
"Come out. I'm not going to hurt you if you tell me the truth," he said loudly, looking around. The warm coppery liquid dripped on his hand. Out of all times, he had to get a nosebleed right then... -
**under his breath
-
He stayed low to the ground, not wanting to be seen. That is the truth, baka. Sakura groaned quietly at the pain that seared through his leg from running on the sprain.
Again, the young male was reduced to tears, only he kept it quiet to remain undetected. He looked around a bit with his eyes in search of another Rick, or better, a stick. But found neither in reach.
He was defenseless, tired, and injured to the point of not being able to really go anywhere. This was one of those moments where he wish the guards would come. Then he could go home and rest in his large, soft bed. And drink occasional tea with traveling royalty. -
As he looked, he swore he say the fabric of a kimono. Actually, it was the fabric. Had he finally found.. her? Hopefully it was. He was getting very tired of this ridiculous game, and he wanted to get back with the other samurai.
"I'm trying to help you. Just come out. I'll take you to the prince so you can heal there. I know you're injured." Now he was pretty desperate. He wanted to let the other know that he didn't mean any harm. He just wanted to help.
Of course at that point he could be forceful, which he was really tempted to be, because he could obviously see the kimono and because he was irritated with the entire situation. But he needed to respect the fact that.. she.. didn't want to come out. He needed to be patient. -
"Go away! I don't need your help..." He sobbed and sat up against a tree. "I'll get home and I'll take care if myself." He was truly stubborn in these kind of situations and tended to show it often.
He didn't want his help, how could he possibly trust him? And doesn't he know there's more than one prince in the area? So which would he be referring to? "And you can't make me go. I'm sure your master is too busy to deal with an outsider." Especially one from another royal family.
He groaned when he tried to stand, the pain was growing to be too much to bare. "Kuso...Kuso..!" He growled and plopped back on the ground, his face in his hands. -
Finally he grew tired. He needed to end this. He rushed over to Sakura's side as sensitively as he could. Then he said softly, "You'll thank me for this later."
With much ease, he picked the small one up and did it so that he couldn't attempt to hit Kabu in the head. Legs in front, upper body in back. He held him tightly and said, "Alright, enough is enough. You're being stubborn and you obviously need help."
He felt bad at once. Of course he hated having to do this. But he felt that just leaving him.. her out there in the open was dangerous. Kabu hated to think of such a fate.. Of what would happen if he did such a thing.
I'll take him anyway..
(At this point I think we should wait for Ana.) -
He struggled and complained for a while, but eventually grew tired and drifted off.
(now we wait but I'm too tired so I will sleep. Night~) -

Sorry for the wait. :S
Takehiko sighed, watching the soldiers finish their rounds. "It's all clear sir, we can start to head back." "Right, good work men..." The prince couldn't help but feel there was still something wrong, that that rustling from earlier was still unaccounted for.
As if reading his mind, a general stops the troops. "Are you sure you checked everywhere?" When there wasn't an answer he pointed to the east side where the woods were thicker. "Check again."
And after a few moments, a couple soldiers had lead Kabu up to their group. "He has found a woman, your majesty, and she looks in need of assistance to her injuries." "Fine, do take care of her then. Let's go back up to the kingdom then." Take ordered, behind his stern facade he was concerned for the stranger. Though it didn't mean much to him, he supposed. -
It's okies~
Kabu nodded at the soldiers, not finding much else to say other than 'Yes, she struggled' or 'Yes, she was injured'. He thought he should have bowed for his lord as well, but alas carrying Sakura and his heavy armor didn't make it very easy. "Yes, my lord," he replied to his orders, nodding once more.
He held on to the other's body tightly. Not so that there would be bruises, but enough so he wouldn't let go of.. her. With no one watching he wiped his nose again. At least the flow of blood was stopping. He was startled for a minute, there.
He wondered, then, if he would get to return back to the other samurai. Right now they were fighting, and truth be said he didn't want to join. He wanted to stay with his lord, though he knew he already had adequate soldiers. Only in the case where it would be appropriate.. Like now.
