I had to laugh at the wings of fire question. I tried to read them in 3rd grade, or something, and I couldn't, because they were way too under my reading level. So I usually avoid things that are wings of fire.

I've tried to read books with higher reading levels than I can manage before, and abandoned them like that. Some of those books, I've picked back up a few years later to find that they're actually really great books. Maybe you should try and read them again; you might like them better now.

The problem with that is that I'm starting to struggle reading things that are way under my reading level. So if it was easy for me in 3rd grade, I doubt I'd be able to read them now. Actually, a few months ago, one of my friends has the series, and I tried reading it, but my brain just couldn't process the simplicity of it.

That's interesting! I actually misread your first comment because I've never heard of abandoning a book because it's too easy. Most of the time, it's someone quitting a book because it's too hard. Personally, I don't like abandoning a book if I've already started it. Even if I realize that I really hate that book (which doesn't happen that often), I still have to finish it. I'm weird that way. :)

I can't if I can't read it. With the books that are on or above my reading level, I'm pretty much the same.
