Aww, it's so sweet how HP has made a big influence on your life. I can't say I've been with Harry Potter through the years (because I have a bajillion obsessions already) but I can say that I saw the last movie in theatres. I had never seen a HP movie in theatres before then, so that was a big thing for me. The main reason that I wasn't into Harry Potter at the time (when the first movie came out and so on) was because I wasn't mature enough to really understand it. A few years later, I think around the time Order of the Phoenix came on DVD I finally watched the entire series. I loved it. So then I waited until the other movies were out and I bought those too (blu ray of course) then I saw the last movie in theatres (as I already said) Yeah, I'm not one of those hipsters who know absolutley everything about HP and has been with it once the first book came out, but I still enjoy it as much as anyone else. I just had a late start, I've started reading the philosopher's stone, and I love playing Pottermore. The whole world and the mysteries behind it are what sets HP apart from any book. I mean once you really go beyond the main story and look at all the hidden peices here and there you really have to appreciate everything Rowling has done for her fandom. Yes, it is a fandom (probably the biggest fandom in the world) not a "book series" or "some films" no, it is a fandom. It's fandom is comprised of people of all ages who relate to the characters, or love the atmospheare of this ingenious world. Yeah that's my personaly history on HP, I know it's not as dedicated or as solid as Aria's, but like I said I got off to a late start. Oh and by the way, if I was in that debate I would be bashing every little peice of Twilight. I have friends that like the global abonination... er I mean "saga" *gags* and they've personally given up trying to change my mind. Aw well, enough of that, three cheers for Harry Potter!!!

O. M. G. I have so many potter experiences I don't know where to begin... I felt a great depression when I sent a letter to J. K. Rowling and her publishers replied. I know shes a busy woman, but still! Her publishers? And I framed the picture that came with the reply. And I did her for my research report for sixth grade. And I read the series so many times I have lost count. And my first ever set is in ruins from over use. And I cried when it was over. See, Harry Potter has 20 million reasons its awesome. If you get rid of the romance in HP, you still have an amazing story about a boy who defeats a dark wizard. Take the romance oit of Hunger Games, still a good story. Take romance out of Twilight, you have nothing. Absolutely nothing.

Ooh, I see your holding back. Okay well that's good enough for me. I'll make up the rest of it. Anyways, I'd like in immerse in an old story that involves me, and a book catelogue. Once upon a time, in a classroom far far away, I was looking through a book catelogue when I saw it. Twilight... anger flashed through my eyes and I felt like ripping up the page. However, a certain series of numbers caught my eye that made me smile. For you see, the numbers were the price, and the price of this so called "saga" was worth two dollars... no I'm not making it up, two dollars. Instantly I started chuckling, then laughing, then banging my desk waving the catelogue in the air. "TWILIGHT IS WORTH TWO BUCKS!!!" I laughed uncontrolably. I ran over to my teacher and said proudly "here's my order" clearly showing her that blessed number two beside the horrifying picture (edward and bella *spits in disgust*) She said, "Huh, you're in a good mood" she took the catelogue. I pointed at the price of the sickening novel. "TWILIGHT IS TWO DOLLARS, in fact it's the same price as their bookmarks. Well I don't even think it's worth two dollars, it's worth less... no wait let me rephrase that. It Is WORTHLESS" "Woah easy tiger, I didn't know you hated twilight that much" she said jokingly. I smiled politely, "Yup, proud and pissed" I walked over to my desk smiling at my new found discovery. The new york times best selling saga, the neverenending worldwide parasite, the infectious brainwashing disease epidemic feeding on the helpless brains of teenagers everywhere... was worth two bucks. Ah, sweet victory.

Yes I have a Pottermore account, I'm in Ravenclaw. I think it made a good choice, I never really cemented myself in a particular house anyways.

Aww :.( I'm sorry about your uncle. I had an uncle that died too, he would've been in Gryffindor for sure, he was battling cancer. He was a total jokester though, and he was quite creative too. It's sad to see someone you love go away, but at least they're not in anymore pain.

Sorry I couldn't comment here (I was at an overnight program w/o any electronics), but I sent my spirit over to the meeting, did it get there? :P As I was watching the minutes on my watch during the 7 silent minutes, I was crying, well doubly crying because I was already crying (because of the program, you don't need to ask) because, I just kept thinking about how the story books will only ever be 7. I understand that everything must end, but I console myself by thinking that it really hasn't. The story and the love for the story will always live on (especially in people like all of you :3) I know I'm not near the amount of devotion that some of you have, but nevertheless, I love it. I don't think I've said this before: When the last book came out, I read it like crazy. I think I finished in maybe 4 days? It could've been quicker if my mom was worried I wasn't getting enough activity variety during the day (excercise and whatnot :P) When I finished, I came out of my room, announced that I finished to my family, fell onto the sofa, and then cried. My mom, thought my mind was off balance and even told her concerns to my aunt and dad O.o Anyway, I floated around for the rest of the day not saying much and going back to reread it again... the Harry Potter series changed my life. It made me a readaholic, especially for fantasy and lengthy books. It gave me another world to experience, and it gave magic to my life that will stay with me until I die. Perhaps even past then...

OMG you're like my new best friend XD I seriously am in love with you right no (not in a creepy stalker type way, in like a Potteromance way) I eat sleep and breathe harry potter :D Reread it a billion times!! I carry a wand around school every day people tell me I have Potterhead issues :P But yay i have a potter buddy!!

I'm only asking because that's where I am in Pottermore *shrugs* what the heck. I'd probably see either me in superhero getup with spiderman, or me in wizard getup with Neville, or me in cartoon form with Ferb, or... ya know I have way too many obsessions, maybe just a milkshake will do :D

Oh my goodness. This was music to my ears as I read it.It brought a smile to my face and made me laugh when you said Daniel Radcliffe stared at you and your heart skipped a beat xD It was sweet reading this.It was kindy funny that you got detention for that,but that's why we potterhead exist ;D And that song you put at the results was If I die young :D Happy Harry Potter International day and POTTERHEADS RULE xD

@Aria- this had a great impact on me. I never really fancied harry potter so much but you made me. those words, description and emotions were a lot for me. You changed me into a good person, the person i was searching for in me. You really help me found my way and I am forever grateful for that. No ONE HAD DONE THAT BEFORE. It's been a huge success and thank you ;)

Harry Potter IS my life. No exaggeration. I swear, it makes me the person I am today, and I always make references to it. I positively bawled as soon as the Warner Brothers logo came on when I went to see the last movie (all six times). It truthfully gets me through everything, and I sometimes wish I weren't even a fan because there's just this bloody rush of emotions too hard to deal with. I get on YouTube and watch videos and cry until the end of the day, and longer. I read the first and last sentences of each of the books and sob my heart out, especially when I read "All was well." NO ONE in my family except for me likes (correction, LIVES, not just LOVES, but LIVES) Harry Potter. I feel bad for them and I'm forcing my mum to watch them all. JK Rowling is my queen. Once I went on this scary freaking roller coaster and was like... "Okay, just... I'm riding a broomstick. That's all! Playing Quittich!" Guess what? Kept my eyes open the entire ride. LOL. It's seriously just too much to take it, all those brilliant characters and life lessons I HAVE TO HAVE.

Wow that's a great meeting. I don't have words to describe what i feel. Youre such a fanatic fan of Harry pottor. My favourite writer's favourite book is HP. So, i got another reason to loven Harry Pottor even more. Proud of being a Potterhead. Twiligh and Harry pottor are two different worlds. We should not compare them. But, if i have to choose one, i'll pick HP!

OMG! This was just like the sweetest thing ever. I am crying right now and these tears won't stop. Do you want to know why >I< love Harry Potter so much? Because it got me out of my depression. I used to cut myself a lot and when I saw Harry Potter, all my pain was gone and smiles etched upon my face. Thank you J.K. Rowling. You have been a true friend to me (:

copy and paste this, it's called "A Very Potter Musical" a respectble spoof made by fans of the Harry Potter Series. There's also a Very Potter Sequel which is also good, but you have to see the first one in able to understand the second. It's great if you can accept dumbledore having a short beard and sounding like he's from new jersey, or that Quirrel and Voldemort become BFF's. If you can't, don't watch it, but I know some serious potter fans who love this (no seriously they wanted me to draw the deathly hallows symbol on my wrist in sharpie... if that's not fan behaviour I'm not sure what is) in fact they introduced me to this. So yeah just a warning, it spoofs Harry Potter a littlem but it stays true to the story... mostly
