I plan on doing Hoshido if I can only buy one, but if I can I'm snagging both and then downloading the dlc for the neutral path later.

a lot of people get aggressive when you say you're choosing Hoshido instead of Nohr.

Not why I wanted Hoshido

No. I liked the characters and the fact it was a peace seeking country. Is it really that strange? Plus, the Oni character is badass as fu.
I mean look! This is your Hoshido family and even though you were raised as a member of the Nohr they still welcome you with open arms and love you. Isn't that a good thing?

The hoshido storyline is actually harder.

they say that America will release one game that has both versions in it

I heard the opposite, that Hoshido will be easier as you can grind, while Nohr is linear and doesn't give you that option.
It'll be expensive as f--- if they do that. Might be better off just buying one and getting DLC. -
were any of these in awakening? .-. i dont recall any of them.

I'm pretty sure that it was confirmed that they are releasing two seperate games for each path. But there is still the DLC for the other path.
I haven't played a Fire Emblem game before. I was going to get Awakening, but I decided to get Tales of the Abyss instead.
So I'm interested in maybe grabbing a copy of Fates when it comes out. I'll probably choose Hoshido as well, though. -
Correction: I've played the demo for Awakening.

Yeah I know.xD I've been keeping updated with it since the first teaser trailer was released, before they even had a name for the game.:P
Yes, two games, you can buy one game and get DLC for the other, and DLC for the Neutral path [Where you're forced to fight everyone].
TotA is great, but so is Fire Emblem. Awakening made me cry a lot, to be honest.
