Anyone here into blade martial arts? Fencing..kenpo..?
Im about to buy a sword but im not entirely sold on a design yet. Im thinking an ibarian falcata because they're fairly good swords and also I find them stylish.
Other then that I really have no idea..rapiers are interesting but im not digging the idea of the style that makes them useful..
dunno, anyone else have opinions or thoughts on the matter? Whats your favorite sword? -
I used to fence. If your want to buy a fencing sword, you should know that there are three different kinds, and they each correspond to a different style of fencing. You should make sure to buy a sword that is the one used for the style of fencing you're trained in. The three types are foil, epee, and sabre.

Ok mini so the foil, epee, and sabre, are descendents of the rapier, mainly used for modern day olympic fencing...eehh this is what im stearing away from...
