"Cool. Here, now you can ask me questions, so I'm not just interrogating you."

Maeve chuckled, sticking her hands in her pockets. 'Um, what's your favourite food? Since you work in a bakery.'

"Well my favorite thing in the bakery is the cannoli's we have, but other than that, probably peach cobbler." Lavender shrugged. "What about you?"

'I like jam tarts. Peppermint tea is nice too.'

"Oooo, agreed." Lavender grinned.

Maeve beamed. 'Definitely.'

Lavender chuckled, glad they were getting along so well. They got to the lake.

Maeve kicked a pebble into the lake.

Lavender smiled. She let go of her hand, and sat down on a large rock in the lake close enough to land that she could jump onto it.

Maeve climbed up next to her.

Lavender beamed, glad to be around someone that wanted to be so close to her. "Do you want to ask any more questions? I'm an open book."

Maeve smiled. 'Do you like England?'

Lavender shrugged. "It's nice." She didn't have much else to compare it to, so she didn't think about if she liked living there often.

'Fair enough. Do you want to go to the North with me sometime?'

Lavender beamed. "I'd love to!" She said quickly. "I-if you don't mind, that is..."
