Lavender nodded. "That'll be two dollars." She paused, trying to do the math in her head. "Or I can give you change for one coin."

Maeve shrugged, grabbing two coins from her pocket. ‘I don’t mind. I’m using my brother’s money, anyway.’

Lavender took one coin and gave her the change for it, then got her a croissant.

Maeve smiled, watching her.

Lavender noticed her staring, and smiled back.

Maeve blushed, grinning dorkily.

Lavender chuckled. "Are you doing anything fun today?" She asked, wanting to keep talking to her.

‘Nah, not really. Probably just walking around,’ Maeve said. ‘You?’

"Not much either. I should be getting out of here soon, so that's fun I guess." She shrugged.

‘Do you want to hang out after?’ Maeve blurted.

Lavender beamed. "I'd love that!" She said immediately.

Maeve grinned. ‘Great! I’ll meet you outside after your shift, then?

Lavender nodded, blushing lightly. "Sounds good!"

Maeve waved before teleporting away.

Lavender grinned. After ten ish minutes she walked out to Maeve in some fresh clothes. "Hi."
