Maeve glared at the boys. She pulled away from Lavender and folded her arms.

The boys fumbled out the money to Lavender and left, glaring at Maeve. Lavender buried her face in her hands.

Maeve turned to Lavender. ‘Who the hell are they?’

"Just some boys." Lavender turned back to her customers.

‘But you’ve seen them before, who are they?’

"They're just some boys trying to annoy you." Lavender kept working, avoiding her eyes.

‘They were being b----es to YOU, though!’

"Don't worry about it, Maeve."

Maeve frowned. She folded her arms and leaned against the wall. She wanted to argued, but didn’t say anything since she didn’t want to make a scene in front of the customers.

After a bit, Lavender sighed softly. "I'm going on my lunch break."

‘Can I come?’

"Of course."

Maeve followed her.

Lavender walked out of the store. "Where do you want to go?"

‘I don’t care. How long have those boys been bothering you?’
